Empowering Communities Through Socially Just & Client-Centered Care
Memoru is grounded in a social justice framework, an approach that centers the experience of those most impacted by structural oppression. This model seeks to demystify healing by empowering community members to engage in harm reduction and community care.
Our training is rooted in respect for the sovereignty of the client, facilitator, lineage, and the medicines, themselves.
Consultation
Supervision/Consultation with Sara Lewis, PhD, LCSW
This supervision/consultation group meets virtually, every other week on Wednesdays, 12-1:30 pm MT. To facilitate the development of a trusting community of peers, the group has a strict attendance policy, but offers rolling admission for 6-8 clinicians. An interview is required for admission to the group, and candidates must demonstrate an interest in and commitment to learning in an anti-oppressive community. This group aspires to support a multigenerational community of new, mid-career, and seasoned clinicians who want to come together to deepen their clinical skills, present cases, and seek mentorship and peer support. This group will have particular emphasis on psychedelic-assisted therapy, trauma, somatics, the body, ritual, and contemplative approaches. Dr. Lewis can supervise LSWs or LPCCs who are licensed in the state of Colorado seeking supervision hours. Price: $60 for pre-licensed therapists, $80/licensed therapists per group.
